Korean Chrysanthemum Dendranthema sawadskii

Korean Chrysanthemums are the latest blooming of all chrysanthemums, beginning their show in early autumn and lasting until a killing frost. They come in a wide variety of colors, from deep reds and magentas to pale yellows, pinks and whites. In Hendricks Park, you can find the lovely pink “Clara Curtis” variety at several locations in the garden.

The Japanese Anemone, which start blooming in summer, continue flowering into the fall, with graceful stems supporting blooms that dance in the fall breezes.
